COMD 4367 Introduction to Language Disorders in Children

This course provides an overview of language disorders in children, including their nature, etiology, and characteristics. Students will survey principles of assessment and intervention in language disorders across childhood and early adolescence. Students develop introductory skills in analyzing language profiles. Students will learn approaches to language disorder intervention that they may be expected to provide in clinical practice.
