HPEM 5695 Health Residency
The Health Residency is a year-long immersive experience in which MHA students apply their academic preparation to real-world healthcare leadership environments. Students are placed in hospital-based residency programs and work directly with healthcare executives, clinical leaders, and operational teams. The residency provides structured, mentored experiences aimed at developing competency in leadership, communication, analysis, ethics, and professional development. Under the guidance of both a site preceptor and a faculty advisor, students will complete projects, participate in operational activities, and reflect on their professional growth as emerging healthcare leaders.
