COMD 5351 Cognitive Communication Disorders

This course examines acquired cognitive-communication disorders associated with traumatic brain injury, right hemisphere damage, and dementia. Neural substrates underlying attention, memory, and executive function in communication will be examined, as well as the role of these functions in communication. Students will explore various diagnostic tests and therapy materials.
