HPEM 6370 Healthcare Law, Ethics and Human Resources

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to legal, ethical, and human resources issues in public health and healthcare organizations. Students will explore basic legal principles underlying the U.S. legal system, governmental regulation, the development of legal rules, and strategies for interacting effectively with the legal system as healthcare and public health practitioners.
