HIST 4362 The Asia-Pacific War

Students examine the war in Asia and the Pacific through a study of diplomatic maneuvering and military strategies; the perceptions and experiences of those who fought in the war, as well as colonized subjects and noncombatants; and the legacies that ranged from the military occupation of Japan to new wars and the post-war Cold War world order.
