CHEM 1310 Foundations of Chemistry

A one semester course, for non-science, non-engineering, and non-nursing majors, that will introduce students to the fundamental chemical concepts including, but not limited to, the scientific method, measurements, the periodic table, states of matter, atomic structure, chemical reactions, chemical nomenclature, and other chemical applications. This course does not satisfy degree requirements for science or nursing majors. The course will satisfy 3 hours of either the STEM or LPS core requirements.
