PHAR 7139 Applied Evidence-Based Medicine: Defense of the Clinical Arts

This course provides students the opportunity to integrate and apply the fundamentals of the biomedical, pharmaceutical, and clinical sciences to patient cases. This course is discussion-based and students will be exercising their clinical reasoning and communication skills to engage in oral debates and oral defense of their patient care plans. Patient cases will be representative of core and common disease states that are created by faculty or taken from actual patient scenarios.  Case topics are likely to change with each offering of the course.
